In a seismic shift in local politics, Labour Party candidates won 12 District Council seats, taking the total number to 17. In addition, the Tories suffered 10 losses, losing control of West Suffolk District Council.
West Suffolk Labour would like to thank all of those who came out to vote and give a special mention to those candidates who fought so hard only to lose narrowly this time.
Thank you all for your tireless efforts, whether canvassing, leafletting or kind words. This victory belongs to all of us.
In Solidarity,
West Suffolk Labour
